just a quick question on the driveshaft the hub end when you put it back on you have one big nut and a thick washer do you need to have the washer on it or can you just use the big nut as i have lost one of the washers and renault don't have any left at the main factory in france and said they can order it but it'll be on back order which means they will make a new batch when more people ask for it and that can take weeks or months.

P.S if you do need one anyone with a spare washer.

thanks

AFAIK you do need the washer, let me have look when I finish work, I think I've got 1 floating about either that or a hub nut with a built in washer

can't remember if I chucked it or put it back on the driveshaft I removed, will let u know asap

local diy shop only sell thin washer with small holes they don't have the thick washer you use for the driveshaft.

i have a new bearing kit they have the bearing and a nut no washer.
