A lot of you know this car already. I've finally got it ready for sale after having had to put the original reg back on it, getting BB Tuning to give it a last once over, plus I've been moving house as well, which has put it on the back burner.

Anyway, it's for sale now, definitely, on ebay:

Have a look. This Clio is FAST. I regularly put the wind up bikers on the emtpy Suffolk roads yet it is still civilised enough to use every day. 13.36@107.4 mph was this year's time at Santa Pod on road tyres.

I'd like it to go to an enthusiast, not some ordinary joe who doesn't appreciate a fine motor like this! Cheers!

I wouldn't ever question it. Its one fast car.
I'd love to buy it but there no space at home (plus 3 cars is excessive).

move away from Clio's guys... get out now while you have the chance... something I always find curious is all the specialist tuners that work on these cars dont tend to own them... go figure ;) lol

bump for a top motor too

Those afterburners look horrible on that car. You should sell them separately. What do you want for them? 8)

bhp can be proven if you want I suppose. just ring up bb and they'll give you the lowdown. I've just not made any big claims about rolling road tests etc cos I don't trust them myself. Good for a laugh but not much else...quarter mile results and how it drives on the road are what really counts. Last time I had it 'roaded at GDI it kept climbing out of the rollers and they couldn't even get a reading for it beyond 4000 revs where it was making 150bhp if I remember rightly.

It's fast. 1.8 16v overbored slightly to almost 1800. 7.5:1 low comp pistons. 16psi boost through a chargecooler that takes charg temp right down to only 10-15 degrees above ambient. Fully mapped by fastchip.nl. T28/T3 hybrid turbo. That's how you make 240bhp.

Nick, can i ask what your reserve is?

LOL good work! Reserve is £5900 which is set as low as I can go. That could be a lot or a little depending on your point of view.

If you're a modder/tuner who was looking at building a similar Clio, that's less than half what it would cost you to do yourself, plus you could break the car and get almost that back just in selling the parts, because everything is the absolute best performing part that money could buy within reason.

But from the point of view of a dull person who likes getting slow, bog standard, new cars every two years on finance, it's a crazy amount to pay for a '93 valver that books at £2000 top whack because of the mileage and condition. But then everyone on here is - if not a modder - an enthusiast. A Williams is a car you buy with your heart, not your head, so hopefully you all understand where I'm coming from.

Below £5900 it doesn't make sense for me to sell it at all for a number of complex financial reasons...

i can vouch for this car - its the only clio i consider to be a threat to mine. Extremely fast and extremely mint - Nicks spent a lot of money on the car and its in exceptional condition. £6900 is a Bargain !!!
