what do people use for this?
I used hammerite high tempature paint.
Jamie did you brush or spray?

so rattle cans won't do then? hammerite doesn't give the wide variety of colours! :lol:
yeah rattle cans will be fine..
I used the hammerite blue spray can, not brush.
After I did it someone told me any hammerite paint would do the job and it didn't need to be the high temp stuff - this could broaden your choice of colour?
Did my r19 some years back......ended up crackle finish :cry:

did this before and it destroyed all the threads on the bolt holes :(

underneath, where that metal cover thing is
powder coated mine, and its had no problems

You can get high temperature lacquer as well, polished & painted mine then lacquered it 8)

just get plastikote ENAMEL paints... loads of colours used all my clio life, no issues, whit just gets dirty quick... so needs cleaning alot, i use wd40 and a clean cloth
i just used halfords finest on all the bits on my engine bay all worked fine.

ive used halford rattle cans on rocker covers in the past and never had a problem :wink:
