how hard is it to remove the subframe to have it sandblasted and dipped?

engine fully out?

Nah, engine doesn't need to be moved at all.

engine can stay in

provided bolts play ball not too hard

ball joint pinch bolts undone, front bumper off, undo 4x subframe bolts, undo 2x drop link bolts from wishbone mounts to inner arch, undo 4x bolts holding rack to subframe, undo 1x bolt holding power steering pipe to middle back of subframe, remove downpipe, remove dogbone, undo any bolts still holding powersteeering pipes to frame and o/e air feed to airbox, thats about it iirc

:D :P yeah i know just aint been arsed to change them yet on the 2do list yeah resprayed with rattle cans come up pretty sweet really considerin it was an outside job subframe was blasted and powder coated makes hell of a difference looking in the bay

Nice work mate. Hopin to have somethin similar soon when my engine gets rebuilt.

Was thinkin of goin black, but seen quite a few yellow ones and they look awesome.

How much does it roughly cost to get the subframe shot blasted and powdercoated? Considering getting mine done.

i got mine done for penuts bein to the bloke loads a times got my wheels done subframe done and about 20 engine parts done all for 175 and delievered to my door aswell top bloke out here :P
