ive had this a fair while, so i thought i'd stick some pics up.

these were when i got it, apart from adding my plate to it.

then after a local garage fu**ed up my engine, it ended in a humungus rebuild, which took a year or so.

special thanks to gdi for the engine build.

the parts included

new block and head
new cams
new oil pump and drive
new low comp wossner pistons
new management, ie omex 600 with new loom
new flywheel from a 172, so a bigger helix clutch could be used.
basically a fully balanced engine

and probably loads of other stuff i forgot.

then i added some new wheels, and badges and it ended up looking like this

by the way its running 250 bhp, with the same torque figure

How did the garage shaft your engine? And did they pay for the damage?

they were supposed to fit new big end bearings and regrind the crank, as it had low oil pressure, when i went to get it it ran for 3 minutes and seized. turns out it was ither wrong bearings used or a crap regrind, ither way i cant prove who was responable, the garage or engineers. the court case continues. the problem i have, is i cant say for sure who stuffed it.

will leake

I would say the blame points at the garage because they put it togeather and should have made sure it was 100% first. They should have measured each point on the crank to make sure it was correct. If it went soild after a few mins i would say they forgot to oil all of the shells when it was put togeather. Sounds like a friday afternoon job to me. :mechanic:

i did'nt want to do it, due to lack of space, and the fact my brother nicked most of tools, and lives miles away, so i thought i was an easy enough job for the garage to sort. won't be doing that again. lesson learnt

Garages: Mostly inept and uncaring from my personal experience.

Glad you found a use for my pic :)
