Well i thought it was a good idea i buy a cheap track car, rather than risk the focus. I decided to go for a Clio 1.8 16v as itr pretty nippy and handles pretty good.

Well i picked a dog lol. total rubbish, but i'm getting there new koni's to go on. The wheels i've fitted as u can see compos in white recon'd with new toyos. totally stripped the interior. I have a new engine and recon box ready to go in, (schoolboy error on buying a dog, engines smokey lol).

lowered around 40mm, decat scorpion system, superchip and a kn rudeboy filter. nothing major i just want it reliable. Alot of work still to do but i'm getting there haha. Seats are next on the long list.

Enjoy!

I think the 1.8 in many ways is a better track day car.

How hard are you going to be at attacking the weight? Are you going to remove every possile gram ie bump strips etc to save weight or are you keeping it looking normal.

nope lol. theyve been such an arse to fit! off a Nova. i knew they were 10mm out but a spacer would sort that. sent um off to be recon'd and new tyres put on........Major schoolboy error lol i forgot about the central bore size being smaller on a vaux! so i bored it out using a special drill bit LOL. They now fit but err its been proper crowdered haha.

Next up is Buckets hopefully geting a Cobra Imola 2 off me mate.

what mounts do i need for the clio??
