If your asking can you change the filter without changing the oil, then yes.

Another oil filter question: I have just changed the oil in my phase 2 valver and I wanted to do the filter as well. How the hell do I get to it? Will i have to take out the radiator?

would have been best to remove filter when you were changing the oil because if you try and change filter now you wil obvioulsy get oil gushing out once you undo it could drain oil again and put back in after filter is replaced

Regarding removal you can unscrew it from beneth the car nothing should be in the way, often with you hand no tools nescceracy but if it has been on there for a while you may need a filter tool (Looks like a large spanner)

Also when you get the new one, get a champion one for a williams, will fit a valver, and it has a nut on the top to aifd removal
