Went about dismantling the front end today.
Firstly, if anyone needs anyone soil for their garden let me know, fished loads out from the inside of the front wings!
**** me, there must have been 1KG either side at bottom of each arch.
Anyway, onto the rust.
Doesnt look that bad to me? Think ive seen a lot worse. Or someone ruin my night and tell me otherwise! Seems to me its where the water gathers on the plastic clips that holds the liners on, seems to attack the holes.
The bits that the rust has attacked, seems to me as only serving purpose for the arch liners to attach to?
If this is the case, could I not just cut back the metal and treat it? Then maybe fudge something or attach something with rivets to attach the liners to? Or maybe get a welder to weld new strips in?
Advice please.... :o :lol:
