The spark plug cover is in excellent condition. No cracks, and complete with all the clips.

Yes i have, and on inspection there was nothing which i could find that would make it unserviceable.
I can get pictures if required.

How old is the battery? You say new, but what date is on it? Actual Varley red top or odyssey? Any pics of it outside the box?

I have the receipt for the battery for 13/03/2008
I will check for a date on the battery.
It is an actual Varley battery.
