right, the part of the loom that goes up the a pillars to the roof with the electrics for central locking plip, interior lights, lecci suroof and aerial wires all in it, runs from one side of dash to other in a loop. is it seperable from the rest of the loom with dash in situ? or can i just chop it off where it is emerges from the sides of the dash with no ill effects? it wont affect my central locking or immobiliser etc just hacking that part of the loom out?

cheers

iirc there is plugs at each end mate, when i rewired the hybrid i stripped mine right down so it was only the interior light wiring, got rid of the old receiver/alarm crap.

just need to get the dash top off and follow them, although i cant remember how far they went once at the dash, fairly certain it wasnt much.

i needed 1-3 of the wires connected for my toad alarm, so i just cut it down and re solded under the dash top.

iirc you have the same alarm so you will need to reconect it, its loads better with no wires up the pillars :)
