I would suggest maybe 250-300 of the original 400rhd cars are still around... Northy would know via the register...

You would have to pay for the information.

I recently bought a willy 3 (N203TKS).
does anyone have any idea how many were made? 2's and 3's and how many are left?
:?:

The fakes that say 2 or 3 after them are just mass produced Chinese replicas :)

i still would like to know how many were made and how many survived?
surely the willy3 is getting rarer since they rush away due to leaky sunroofs?

Coops

willy 3 was the rarest in the uk spec anyway

cyberbeej

what do you mean?

Coops

they made less of the williams 3 than of the 1 and 2 for the uk market

its around these figures, mat brown has a better idea though

Williams 1 - 400

Williams 2 - 450

Williams 3 - 320

thats the UK spec/registered RHD cars, there were thousands more of each made for the european markets in LHD

cyberbeej

i expected more of the 2 and 3's.

i knew about the 400 RHD willy1's but i thought there would be more like 1000 of the 2's and 3's.

its good to know that there are less than i thought made, guess with the one's that have been scrapped and written of then there can't be many left.

MatBrown

1 - 390
2 - 482
3 - 308

Whats left can only be a best guess.

cheers for the info guy's.
been all through this forum and could i find any info on numbers made.

makes my own little car feel so much more special knowing that there was so little of them made.

Coops

i reckon those numbers should be made into a sticky thread it gets asked so often

cyberbeej

probably a good idea to add a history of the williams on the home page and maybe add they figures.

1 - 390
2 - 482
3 - 308

Mat.

I've been keeping a list myself of the Willy One's that have cropped up on this forum, Pistonheads, Fleabay, Autotrader etc. (coz I'm sad like that!)

But if only 390 were made, how come I've got no's 398, 407 and 425 ticked off on my list??

Confused....

MatBrown

Because it wasn't numbers 1 - 390 that were released over here, some are LHD models abroad.

but what you have to remember is that williams's were made all over the place but 2's and 3's are a uk only car....

No where else got 2's or 3's
