I thought my cam cover gasket was gone so iv just set about replacing it to find that the bolts were hardly done up at all! Some of them the heads wernt even touching the cam cover! Anyway i took it off to check the gasket which actually seems fine but do these pics look right to you? Obviously some oil has leaked down into the plug wells because of this!

There apears to be alot fo oil in the inlet? side of the cams where as on the exhuast side there is none?! Is this down to the drain holes?

Also these are meant to be kent cams, is there anyway of checking this?

Thanks

dont really think oil is a prob be more concerned if its dry as a bone cam cover screws are best torqued down to avoid over tightening (3-6nm or 2-4lbf ft) and think u might find ident numbers/letters on end of camshafts not sure tho on that one m8 hope this helps :) :)
