Don't think I've popped any shots up of this in its own thread so thought I'd catch up :)

Firstly a few weeks after I got it, only thing I'd done is popped the civic aerial on.

Then set about to Renault and spent some wedge! Clear repeaters, splitter (oh god the pain of the £££) and anal things like a new packet of airbag warning stickers and sunvisor stickers!

Now the alloys don't look too bad but honestly the front ones were dead, I ended up buying 2 spares off ebay to swap for these!

After engine troubles (!) I could finally get back on track, Yesterday I went to The Wheel Specialist in Leeds to take advantage of the CS discount - asked as to what colour I wanted I replied as in your face as possible ;)

So on went the metallic silver that the Focus ST's have...

I then set about putting the spare back in, I had this done too and didn't want it scratching so I popped out to get a £4 camping mat and started chopping it up.

Finally until I order some new ones from renault to take to get powder coaters I painted the tops of the sill bolts with a bit of hammerite - will look much better when its all done.

Thats it! So glad I chose to stick with the standard 5 spokes!

Tomorrow off come the wheels and out comes the silver caliper paint :)

Loving it now - Only thing I want to do is get a cup spoiler - next doors 182 has one and it stares at me goading me lol.

:lol: I was scrolling down the pics got to the 17th and was thinking what is wrong with the passenger side made me laugh out loud when the next pic was the passenger side one.

Yes but not this one, I think you'll need a phase 2 item for yours :P

I was sick to death of seeing them for sale cracked in half for £70! so I thought **** it - used secuity tappers too so no ****ers taking it without a fight :idea:

If it was looked after by the missus better it would be! 21,000 miles owned by her dad she bought it for £800 - I stood it next to the willy for a few days and it started rusting :twisted:

very nice daz, same colour as my 182 i just got. cup spoilter deffo worth it makes it look much better :)

how much was the front splitter... mines got both cup packs and i thought it was supposed to have the front splitter, looks like it may have been ripped off at some point tho???

Your 182 will be titanium fella, 172s are iceberg silver, icebergs and awesome colour when the sun hits it..

Spitters are £128 + Vat WITH staff discount :shock:

£241 for all 5, strip, coat, refit tyres, balance etc etc.. thats 5 center caps too..

Million times better than what proclean used to throw out lol.

Nah not all Proclean refurbs were bad, mine were stunning, still mint 4 years on, never seen any other refurbs as good tbh

I really hope not! seen plenty of shagged and unloved 1.2 s reg mk2's with no rust so heres hoping! Sills do it for me I hate rusty sills lol.

I drive a lot more civilised now, enjoy the drive rather than major gunnage everywhere - its not quite as good low down as the willy so you have to work it harder which means you don't tend to do it as much unless you want to...

I drive it like I did my old 16v to be honest I don't know why!
