Hi everyone

I've sold a few of these on here in the past, plenty on cliosport and i'm now kicking these off again and branching out into doing lots of other cars

I've just had a request to do a coloured version of the williams so i thought i'd pop a new advert up on here to see if anyone's interested

i swear all you've done between the phase 1 and 2 is change the alloys, they have a few more differences than that. not having a go at you're drawings as they are pretty damn good but would only consider getting one if it was a little more accurate.

its better but sorry to be picky... the wing mirrors could do with a bit more re-shaping still. sorry told mother off for staining the outside table earlier n not doing the legs... its one of those days!!

im not horrible really. just the phase 2's have a more oval-ish shape to the wing mirrors whereas the phase 1's have a more D shape.

I love the 172 one you did me and I'd love a willy one too but for me its too low to look like a standard williams, all the mk1's need raising a good few notches!

Oh and wheres the 16v's sunroof? :lol: :wink:

im not horrible really. just the phase 2's have a more oval-ish shape to the wing mirrors whereas the phase 1's have a more D shape.

I have done a standard ride height drawing, so i can do that no problem :)

If there's enough interest i might go back and make all the changes, but i've had a lot of happy customers who have bought these before

I haven't done one yet no mate, i wouldnt mind an R5 on the wall myself so i might do one

i'd have a phase 1 in etruscan red with black turbines. but only if i thought the picture was 100% accurate. sorry im a fussy bugger! was considering building and painting a model of our valver though so im undecided yet! sorry for ruining it :P

Good drawings indeed.

But i do agree with comments above that there's no differences between the ph1/ph2 valvers besides the wheels.

For example, on the ph1, you have:

'16v' badges on the side repeaters
Ph2 style bump strips (incorrect)
Ph1 mirrors
Ph1 front grille
Ph1 fuel filler cap
etc..

On the ph2, you have:

16v badges on side repeaters - incorrect, should be on the rounded bump strips
Ph2 style bump strips - correct
Ph1 mirrors, incorrect
Ph1 front grille, incorrect
Ph1 fuel filler cap, incorrect

There's probably more.

Oh also just noticed the williams doesn't appear to have wider track than the valver drawings :wink:

I think gav has made an extremly good effort in hes drawings and all hes got is 'this should be like this and this should be like that'

Id be pretty upset if i were to try and sell my own drawings only to get told u dont think its right!

If u would like to buy one but would like for gav to do a few modifications to the picture you are buying then please pm him and im sure he will be able to do a few tweeks for you.

That way it keeps the thread clear, thanks

think of it as constructive criticism, it will only make his drawings better, therefore allowing him to sell them at a higher price due to their accuracy. yes i sound awfully intelligent there although i think im talking a load of crap. this is due to completing an essay which isnt even mine for a mate at uni

You can't be shutting people up leigh just because they want some minor mods, Gav's had no problems in the past changing the odd detail, he did a minor change on my 172 - its how he gets the business!

I did this car about 2 years ago now, when i first started doing these, so i will admit it's not 100% accurate, but not as far out as some of you are claiming, if you look at my 3rd post you will see i've posted the ph2 16v, as opposed to two phase 1's in my original post.

My work has progressed a lot since this car, these are only a side project as i design cars for a living these days :) Unfortunately cant show anything i'm currently working on due to confidentiality agreements.
