You can see stans car on track at Donnington the other day. This is in car footage from a friends car. Stans car gets overtaken at around 2 min into the video. Enjoy.

Used to get 1.28s in the std 172

I went round Donnington and got 1.15 on a push bike tbh

Guy looks very quick in that car tbh, looks fairly hardcore also - cannot see a standard Clio of any form getting anywhere near that.

1.30s not all that quick round there mate tbh.......car looks rapid....but times suggest otherwise.

being severely held up.......with mild engine mods, all std susp/brakes etc.

1.40s ...... the hold ups causing a hell of a lot of the 10 secs diff

1,28s in the 172 cup with no engine mods and road tyres....

That guy looks very fast and with semi's I am suprised to say the least.

That car is a little bit quicker than a standard williams or 172 cup. It quarter miles in the 12s.

hmmmmmmmm is this mr ' life is more than a 1/4 mile' speaking??

it may 1/4 in 12, but then it may also not pull above 110, which is a distinct disadvantage at donny.

Doesnt look particularly suited to donnington tbh. 'Looks' faster at cadwell which is a tad more sinuous.

Not sure if the straight cut box you can clearly hear is a much shorter ratio.

Sounds nice though.

Is it just me that guesses this is just a joke?

No thats stan's car. He built it for the classic rally with a mate. Its a 1913 class T auto union rebuilt with a cosworth lump in it.

Ahh right fair doos....but with the nova it just seems odd that a 12 second car with semi's is 'only' that quick regardless of gearing. Certainly over the 1/4 at least a car thats 2 sec+ quicker would batter a car on the road/track

Maybe becuase he is on semi slicks and the track is damp? Just a guess.

lol this is indeed a wind up... unless the "other day" is more than "a few weeks ago", as stan isn't in a fit state to drive.

Made me laugh though.
