From what i can see it must of cracked at some point and been welded to the bottom of the downpipe. It was like this when i bought it and didnt cause any problems at all. It didnt blow and performed really well.

I pop on here whenever i get a PM, :D

Oh and i have no phone as it was crushed while using Big jack, working on the 172. Its pretty much bent in half :D

lmfbo, back up for sale..

What you see in the pics, is what you get with this manifold. Before people consider buying this please NOTE there is NO flexi Pipe with this

I ran this without and also bought it without and had no issues what so ever. I did and will not mislead people, I also clearly posted pics of what is for sale as shown above.

so does this replace both williams manifold and the downpipe?
Whats the comment about the flexi pipe missing?

Rexy
28-04-2009, 18:17
Yeah it replaces the whole lot, Apparenlty when new they come with a flexi pipe. I've never ran a flexi pipe with it and i've never seen a flexi pipe tbh. The only flexi pipe i can think of is that cheap shite they use on aftermarket backboxs to fit any car.

schakal

flex ?? how fookin ghey !!
thats what engine and exhaust mounts are for imo .
looking at that setup you could not even have a flexi pipe
even if you wanted .

the flexi bit is an extra piece on the manifold with 2 springs, looks like the same kind off thing where the willy manifold joins the downpipe. you need the flexi joint init as the manifold needs to be able to flew a bit otherwise it cause's stres onit and makes it crack, the one in the picture has had this happen hence why its been re welded near the bottom.

I had the same problem with my old supersprint, once welded it would just crack its self somewhere else, i sodl it and the next owner got a flexi bit made onit - problem solved.

mate ,2 of the manifold slide into the 2 on the downpipe from what
i see ,can you explain which way and how its supposed to flex unless the
pipes are a loose fit into each other ??

at the bottom where it joins onto the cat is where the flexi part on a supersprint should be.

Rexy
29-04-2009, 19:05
PMSL, massive deal about this flexi pipe jesus. It hasnt got one anyway So either be a man and run it without or buy one from supersprint.

either way I ran it without and had no problems what so ever.

Back on topic and Still for sale...

The flexi pipe section is about 2 -3 inches long, so this will effect the length of the system from cat back btw.

Rexy

well As i said, this was on my williams with a Blueflame system with De-cat and went like a good un, I had no issues whatso ever.
