got my engine bak but i need a wierd part and dnt no how to get hold of it or wot it is can any one help?>

apperantly its a plastic bung/cover that sits where the distributer used to be but is now a black plastic bung/cover and it melted off does anyone no wot this is and how to get one quickly?>?>?>?> many thanks mark

I know the bit you mean. I don't know a part number but I doubt it is expensive. Must a be a load banging about from people like Mat Brown.

It is a thin (ish) black plastic cover that sits under the rotor arm.

do you mean on the back of the block above the oil pump drive.

yea thats sounds like it mate i need one of them mine melted so if any one cud help us out wiv getting us one would be a big help cheer again guys

might have one will look tonight. goes under a small metal plate with to m6 bolts yes.

yea sits under the manifold its where the distributer was on the valver but they moved it on the williams and jus put a plastic bung/cover there instead. if ur got one mate it would help loads.

nope..both in the same place on both cars.

think its just for access to the oil pump drive. will have a look this afternoon..
