After beating Tommo at pool this afternoon (;)) I decided to clean the car.

Put those pants painted bits back to standard at once!

I think i've seen 3 standard 172s since I bought mine every other one I've seen has been fudged with!

It's not a Williams Daz, you should know I like painted pits too. :wink:

Don't think they look that bad, do prefer standard bullets I think though. Prefer the dark Renault diamond.

Just thinking for resale fella, when I was looking for mine as silly as it sounds I dismissed a few for having simple mods like that - maybe thats just me though!

Quick Q on the subject though! when you took the front badge off did the black surround come with it or just the badge? I want to swap both.

No mate, when I removed the diamond just that came with it. The housing is behind and looks quite extensive.

There are three pins one at the top and one at the bottom each side.

Yeah - going to get a CF splitter as and when. Just got some more turinis and cup spoiler after selling my others (Meh - silly me) so have to see...

Jamie should keep it imo, but he'll have changed his mind by next week knowing him! lol

Imo just keep it and change the wheels, suspension (AST's) and a set of bodies... leave the exhaust and cat on etc and it will be a very quick and sorted car that's quiet and can still be used daily :D

Seems to be ok, used some coolant but I expect that to get it going round again, quieter than the last one - gonna give it the beans on the motorway today see if it blows up again!

Oh and jamie you HAVE to fit a splitter, got mine thats been sat here for 5 weeks but on and its so much nicer to look at! genuine renault FTW!
