anyone know of any difference between normal williams speedline wheels and ones that came with a cup racer? (ie are they lighter)

will there be any markings to make them different?

gonna sell a set as i think i have one too many sets of wheels now and thinking of selling the ones that came with the racer

cheers

They are identical, but the race wheels (on rally cars too) came with a manufacturing stamp) on the OUTSIDE of the wheel so you can see the year of manufacture with them on the car (presumably for the scrutineers). The info is also on normal wheels but is on the inside of the spokes.

The Cup racer speedlines are made from pure Sodium and very lightweight, not to be used with wets though!

And what gas is given off when sodium reacts with water?

so to dredge this up, they are the cup speedlines (wheel info stamped on outside)

are they worth any more than standard speedlines?

Wouldnt have thought so, would you pay more for the same wheel with a stamp on the outside?

I wouldn't.

Put them up for sale at 100 quid more than willy wheels and drop the price until they sell, let the market decide.

You cant beat the markets. Ever.
