gearbox end cap thing?

can it be removed in situ?

does the box have to be drained to remove it?

reason being, mine is rusty as foooook :roll:

Just paint it, they all rust. Sand it down then hammerite, but yes it can be removed in situ and yes, oil will leak out if you do.
