Would someone be able to provide me with some advice?

Im needing to tow my Clio Williams, I can get a hold of a car trailer but I was wondering if a Mazda 6 2.0 litres would be able to tow the trailer and car?

Thanks,
Andrew

ive towed my williams with a old P reg laguna 1.8 8v(95bhp) and it was ok unless i got to a hill lol was a real struggle then! def needed more torque, so depends how much power/torque the mazda has, also worth checking if the tow weight limit on the mazada is high enough etc

mazda 6 2.0litre should be plenty sufficient. You need to check the rear axle towing capacity. IMHO the best car for towing, before you get to heavy and into the landrover/4x4 class, and thus over 3.5tonne limit of post 1997 licenses would be something like a Vauxhall Omega (what I use), etc.

Fish-tailing would have been caused by incorrect nose weight... so car should have perhaps been forward more.
