Got a new thermostat today and it says 107 on the bottom of it. The guy in the parts shop said it was deffinatly the right part.
This seems pretty damn high in my opinion so i thought id check before fitting. Does anyone know the rating for the standard thermostat?

Cheers

lol 107 degrees c? I don't think that's the temp surely not.

standard should be about 87 degrees c from memory. Low temp (just use a GTT one I think) is about 83 degrees c.

yeh i know its insane. tested it as a matter of caution. the kettle didnt open it, so i boiled it on the hob for a while to get it to open a tiny bit.
