is it possible it could leak from the holes that hold the power steering pipe brackets on? near the end cap? it's either there, or here (red and orange);

but why is it dripping from the green bit?

I had a very similar problem with my gearbox, fluid was leaking from there and in turn caused problems with my 5th gear. How much fluid is it dropping overnight roughly?

it would proberly be worth getting the front on axle stands, jetting the underside of the box off and then drive it through the gears etc for abit on axle stands, see if you can see it develop.

i'll have to try that richy, it's really beginning to piss me off, because i've wiped it clean and sat there for ages watching it haha, i could swear it's coming from the red bit, but it also looks like it could of come from the mounting point for the power steering pipe, could that happen?

matt- not loads, couple of drops every 5-10min?

it could pos be coming from the 5th gear cover as theres a rubber seal on that, worth checking them 3 bolts which hold it on are tight and wipe it clean around were it fits

theres a metal cover which is bolted to the end of the gearbox, covers the 5th gear/syncro up, its sits above the subframe/just below gearbox mounting. usually black or a white colour cover
