Can a fooked CV joint cause a wheel bearing to be knackered?

I only ask as I've replaced my wheel bearing - the old 1 was definately knackered  and I've got rid of the vibration when turning left but now I've got a slight clunking instead

I reckon - from advice here - that it's my CV joint that's the problem, will it be ok to drive it like that for a couple of weeks or is it going to kill another bearing?

I say a couple of weeks as I'm now proper skint & desparately need new brakes as well  and I can't be doing with replacing the bearing again

I'm quite pissed off as I've only done 15,000 miles on the new OE driveshafts

your knew driveshafts will be under warranty..take it back to your supplier.

clicking noise sounds like worn cv id guess.

They're about 5 years old

I'm just going to bite the bullet & get a new 1  at least this 1 will have a warranty I can fall back on
