Just fitted 172 Cup springs and new front suspension top mounts to my Williams 3. wow! feels like a different car, amazing difference. A must for all williams.

I took it the Nurburgring last October, so replaced a few bits, uprated kevlar clutch,engine mounts,hoses,track rod ends. It had the wrong front springs on as the front was sitting a lot higher than the rear. 172 Cup springs and new top suspension mounts, made a huge difference in height and handling. Parts are cheap for these cars but its the labour charges that kill.

should the rear torsion bar be lowered in accordance with the small drop offered by the cup springs or would that be unnecessary?

No ride height stance is perfect, The car rides so much better and feels more planted, ebay is the best place to find 172 cup springs.

have you done your track-rod ends - they made the biggest difference out of al the suspension parts I replaced.....
