View Full Version : R888's - maybe one for Gaz?
Can anyone get R888 mids cheaper than £66 a tyre? I'm after all 4 to use as my daily tyres and keep my softs for the track... unless anyone can recommend any other makes that are as good?

im after 2 so would also be interested to know the answer to this
Well I emailed Camskill earlier and got back a price of £66 per tyre, but they guarantee to beat any other price! This was for the GG's, the SG's are much more expensive, but they wouldn't last more than 2k on the road I dont think. I've seen the GG's last a good 10k of road driving, so need some :)
last set i got from tweeks, 225 delivered iirc with discount, but i believe they have gone up in price since then

^^^^ that was from ebay by the way
i emailed demon tweeks about a set of 4 (195/50/15) and they can do a set of 4 for £299.58 inc vat and del. should be about £330odd
im waiting for a reply from camskill, what size did you enquire about jon?
I got a price for the GG's in 15 195/50 Richy, £66 each and £2.45 for postage (each).
I paid £100 per tyre though for the SG's, which tbh are a lot better, but dont last that long!
is that inc vat aswell? im after GG set anyway tbh, as they will be road/track set and will be on full slicks if its a hot day!(track of course lol)
aah good point, I'll check tomorrow when Im back in work pal. I'd hope thats with VAT tbh though... will see what Andy can do them for.
np, i will wait for a reply from them aswell and see if james at DT can do any better.

actually got that wrong, they should be £354 odd rrp from dt
Richy, that's £66 including VAT and the £2.45 delivery on each item is also inclusive of VAT.
I'm at GDI/Omex tomorrow, so I'll see if Andy can get them cheaper, I know he used to be able to get them cheaper than that, not sure now though...
cool, let me know as i need tyres and the cheaper the better lol
any news on the tyre prices?
yup, £220 for all 4 it looks like :)
is that for all forum members aswell or just a special mates rate?
