I am going to wax the wheels I have just received from Pristine. Any tips or products recommended?

Need them on asap so dont have much time to piss about. Was going to just use my normal non abrasive polishing wax from meguiars...

Would recommend using auto glym super resin polish, followed by 2 or 3 coats of auto glym extra gloss protection and then a couple of coats of poorboys wheel sealent. Used this on my brand new white track alloys. After the trackday a simple bucket of soapy water got them back to brand new again.

The wheel sealent really is top stuff!!

If your short of time though as I just read then any wax is better than no wax!!

Going to give them a quick wax with what I have for now, but the stuff you have both mentioned sounds good. Obviously, fresh refurbs should be taken care of!

Got three wheels on car now ^^

Taken off exhaust and CAT, replaced with decat and refurbished supersprint mid section and u bend now....oh lordy, it sounds like an animal!

Pics to follow.

Poorboys Wheel Sealant is the daddy, im speaking as the previous owner of some white willy wheels which after 12 months didnt have a spec of brake dust on them !

one vital thing that a lot of people seem to do wrongly, once they are clean and sealed, only use shampoo to wash them, or acid free wheel cleaner, or you will need to seal them every week or two

go to B&Q and get a tile sponge, they are about 80p and have a green card wraparound thing on them, cut it in half and use that to clean them with, much softer then most brushes and very easy to do the wheels with
