where did you get that quote from? cheapest i have been quoted is 800quid these are proffesional restorers though anybody recommend any good places i dont actually care what part of the country as long as they will be cheaper than 800quid!

My rust is worse than that.

LMAO!!

Would it be easier to just replace both rear arches with completely new ones from Renault? or not?

Daz.

It's £600+ for the panels BEFORE you start spending money at the bodyshop if you go for renault panels.

maybe not then, lol. all the money i spend on rust repairs, i thought it would probably be the better option, lol.

How are they actually fitted? i take it they have to be primered and painted before fitting?

katbloke

theyd better off welded first as the paint would be burnt off, get them fitted and spary dinitrol or whatver its called into all the nooks n crannies and as much anti corrosion products as you can throw at it, wouldnt bother with complete arch imo just bottom half otherwise you are looking at going into roof area

I'm not talking about new panels here - just a weld in job - the price I've give is a a cash price so add another £75 for VAT so closer to £600 then... I had mine done as part of a load of other work - hence why cheaper than on their own perhaps???
