thats not the point though :wink:
old car = plenty parts and info cheaply available + no need for
main dealer bummage with stuff like diagnosis either .

talking renos now ,anything pre 1998-99 is pretty much
diy able if you got some enthusiasm , internet access and
an ebay account :D :D

on the other hand i have seen many newer renos having
immobilisers fooking up not allowing the owner to start up ,which
had to be towed to a reno to fix it :) ,airbags going off for
no reason etc etc

My Williams never once passed an MOT first time...

My Mk2 passed the last one without any issues at all :)

Managed to get a free oil and filter change after being dicked about too... Even going to be genuine renault items.

Only thing good about newer cars, is the fact that tax is cheaper..

I got a 53 laguna...brilliant tbh, cant fault it in any order...

But i couldnt sell the 19 and drive it all the time...No thanks
