Hi there not sure on opening times but

Regarding launch i had Willy 1 and a santa pod i ran 15.9 after a few attempts which still wasnt brillant but i found the best revs is somewhere between 4 & 4.5k as long as you have uprated clutch or newish clutch side step the pedal and keep the gas pinned if it hits redline after jumping hold it as 9 times out of ten it will be the wheels spinning you will know when your near the pin, try and judge it with speed aswell as revs will get a better entry in to second without dropping to many revs then the rest is well crossing the line with out hitting redline in third and fourth
:D Good luck

4kish on cam, ease off a lil if wheels get bogged down and back on as soon as, change just before the limiter, take your spare, sub etc and rear seats out :D

 Think if you launch at 4-5k and side step the clutch you'll get 16s! I launch at 2-2.4k and feed the clutch out and power in slowly...got 14.97 in stripped williams with filter, zorst and chip on 1st ever go. 8)

I always launch at 2800rpm and 2 stage the clutch, then floor it. I've run 15.4s in my Valver, so I would have thought even with a shit launch a Willy will be somewhere near that.

Also, if your reaction times are shit, deep stage. This means you roll forwards until only the bottom stage light is lit (usually its both). Launch as you would normally and it knocks a fair whack off the RT. Mine are consistenly in the .6s with a few .5s, with .500 been perfect.

See ya

I always start at @2000rpm. Tyres just about chirping, but not spinning.

I quite often get comments at the local rally stages how good my starts are in comparison to the wheelspin brigade.

i launch at 2-2.5k usually

r/t s vary hehe....best iv had so far was a 0.407 when they ran a 0.400 lapse..........usually its 0.7s lol

I launch at 2k revs, any higher and i get shit loads of spin, but then mine is an 8v, so has alot more low down torque than the 16v's
