they say it drives like the A-Team van   - issues with suspension and the fact it's on original tyres hindered it's assessment in their "greatest hot hatch" article....

Other magazines that have used it havn't complained.... If they were that concerned, why didn't they find a restored car with new suspension and the latest rubber - plenty on here....

They also saw through the hot hatch voting scam too which was nice....

If it's on original tyres then I guess that they are very likely past their best now lol

I could have sworn I saw it on P4000's when it was at FCS in 2007....

Yeah 0001 runs on Pirelli P4000's but most Williams came with Pilot HX's as standard

Yer i read it at work. To be honest if they're reviewing 'legendary' Hothatches, they could have focused alot more on the positives. Like in the other write ups.

Would be intersting to see a well set-up willy against an equivilent modern hatch. Round a track i think the Willy, or any 90's hatch (205 etc) would destroy the newer hatches and the older cars are so much more fun to drive :D

I spoke to the bloke looking after it at FCS when it was all spread out on the airfield at Brunters(?) a couple of years ago, and he agreed that it was strange but that was what it was fitted with!
