Steve,

I think you would be safer asking Tom at Gripper

Without being disrespectful to anyone on here   unless someone is actually using a Gripper diff.,It prove could be disastrous,if you put the incorrect stuff in.
I use Limited Slip Diff oil from RAYNORS MOTOR FACTORS (NELSON) 01282 691222.
There part number COM LS80W901L in 2007 it was £3:22 a litre
Rodders.

You coming to play out at Anglesy on the 26th April

Been advised to use oil without LSD additives, these additives are designed for competition dog engagement gearboxes and destroys syncros. Just means the diff may clunk a bit but thats normal.

Looks at the millers range and the synco designed oils come in 70/90 or 80/90. This is what gearbox man recommended.

Gripper man said use 80/140.......

mmmmmmmmmm

Regards th 26th then yes, entry will be in shortly just waiting for your entry sec so send me the regs (have sent a mail requesting)

I'd go with what the Gripper man says tbh. The Castrol stuff I mentioned above has been used in mine for about 7 years with no problems (Gripper diff was fitted in 2002), it's also BMW approved LSD gear oil...

BTW do you run a 16v passenger drive shaft or the Willy one ?

To be honest mate I don't know, the diff was fitted by the original owner, I'll look through the history and see if there's anything in there about it...

Gripper man told me to put standard renault stuff in mine. But i use millers on th same grade just because its fully rather than semi synthetic.
