As above, or something similar to it, in place of OE dials? Not sure if it's possible with the way the dash is designed. I've seen it done on R5's...

What's wrong with your current rev counter? lol

You should do what someone on here has done (can't remember who now) - fit change up lights into the dial cowling 8)

get vacuum and volt gauges whilst you're there ;)

lol, you can get those reasonably cheaply I think!

May get boost and tyre pressure too :D

you also need a gauge monitoring the manifold for damage

The rev counter can be wired in fairly easily as I was looking at getting exactly that model some time ago. I was going to mount it separately though so I'm not sure how you could cut it into the original dash unit - you'd need to measure up and see what is behind it in the current dash that you could junk to make room.

The other idea I toyed with was to buy the full Stack dash unit out of an Elise (they come up on Ebay reasonably often) that gives you a speedo that matches the look of the electronic tacho they have in them, although I have no idea what you'd need to do to hook it into the Clio speedo drive.

In the end I just bought a full digital dash setup that I can configure to do pretty much anything so know it would be okay, plus give me high/low alarms for water temps, oil temp, pressure, etc.

Nice one stevie. I think I may need a gauge for HG failure too.

Haha. I'm sure you could work something out to do that by having a sensor to check hydrocarbons present in the coolant (a good sign of HG failure) or something

I put in this Marelli MT940 dash:

but I've just bought a DASH2 to replace it as it integrates with the DL1 data logger I've got so I can more easily log the revs, temps, etc. as well as the position/speed data it already captures. It is also much more easily configurable on a PC to have the dash display you want, whereas the Marelli is mainly set using DIP switches, etc.

I'm going to be selling the Marelli one now if you are interested? Can send you the docs with all the functions it has if you think you might go that route?
