with wheels in straight ahead position i get a rumbling noise like a bearing gone or on the way out if i turn the steering wheel ever so slightly it disappears, new track rod end fitted and tracked new wishbone bushes new discs and pads had hubs off bearings seem fine no play in steering column it passed mot on wednesday but noise is driving me nuts any ideas ? it also has 2 brand new tyres on as well and the wheels are not buckled either.

try inner cv joints...

and outers as well...sounds like it might be inner

iv had the same m8
my bearing showed no sign of play
but the rumble stopped :) with a new bearing

Had same some years ago. turned out to be tyre rubber tread breaking down. swop backs for fronts to check.

For the price of a couple of bearings I'd be tempted to do them anyway, just to make sure!

rumbling or humming noise sounds like a worn wheel bearing.
if its a worn c.v joint its more like a clicking noise when turning.

new bearing noise gone strange tho as absolutly no play in the bearing i took off thanks for the suggestions .

I hear they can go in a variety of ways, some of them to flummox you and annoy you lol
