ok, final post for today! honest! but i wanna clean up the engine bay as part of my to do list for August. when i had my mini (the proper one) i gave the engine bay a good scrub and it came out half presentable using gunk - i've still got loads left and wanted to the wlly bay. As the willy has about a billion more wires and computery bits is this a good idea. the pic below show a bunch of wires that look minging!

Can i clean these up with the gunk???? is it safe??! i dont like the idea of washing it down with water. anyone got any suggestions??

i use old white sprits with a brush and wipe it off with a cloth...no water needed.

As an aside, has anyone got any ideas to clean up the shitty loom wires in the willy engine bay? Looks like a 70's porn stars bush in there

Just don't use loads of water?......I used cloths one to apply and a dry one to wipe

Silicone vacume tubing split down the length, warpped in places wiht teh self analing tape
