Picked this up on Saturday morning,

Brand Spanking New Mercedes Benz C300 4Matic sport.... i have to say its rather nice and drives awesome! Pretty nippy too, 7 gear auto so cruises on the motorway!

Its the law here hence why there are subtle differences in design, but it still works ;o)

I think they're just reflectors - the indicators are in the wing mirrors?

They're probably running/marker lights because the americans are blind and can't see other cars or judge how big they are in the dark from side on ;) lol

yeah they are not functional lights, the indicators are in the wing mirrors as described..

The law regarding plates is different depending on the state, technically it is law to have one here where i live (Seattle, WA) but the police are not bothered about it, we've been stopped for various things and given speeding tickets (the wife not me!) and they are not interested in the plate issue.

It does make cars look much cleaner, although some look stupid without one! haha

its a little more 'grown up' than my usual steed, but its just great!... shame i have to be stuck with my Expedition for work and towing my trailer... hmmm maybe i can wrangle a Porsche Cayenne?!.. lol

Just trying to sort some 26's as an upgrade to the 24's... they are soooo yesterday haha...

They are infact 'day running lights' which are law here in most states, they do infact illuminate with the side lights! crazy huh?!
