Ph1 Fuel Sender problems

In the rallycar i keep having problems with the fuel gauge not working to anly find out that the sender its send keeps falling apart and falling into the tank. The bits i meen are the metal case / float and resistor etc.

Is there too much pressure and it pops off, its just a return i think ?

Im thinking of maybe blanking this off and just using a ph2 combines pump fuel level housing together ???

Any suggestions.?

get a new sender mate - they arnt much second hand.

Which one ? the phase 2 combi one ? or another Ph 1 ?

i would keep ph1 mate

but if u do go ph2 - get the full tank and loom. then its a easy direct swap
