just had a reply to my mail to him asking what proof he had on it being the last williams 3 of the production line........

i don't have but it was registered on 29/08/1997 as you know they were all on a n plate's and the delaer sold the car on 06/10/2001 ! the dealer renault tumbridge well's had the car in the show room from when it was delivered to them untill they sold it in 2001 ! i bought the car from paul mitchel at infinicar in 2004 and have had the car untill now ! i have phoned tumbridge wells to confirme this and all is good ! but i don't have anything in paper work ! i will phone monday to see if they will put it down on paper ! also if you know paul he will back up ! but as i say the story is the car was at the dealer untill 2001 and sold for £15k and the bloke who bought it had done 4k before it was damaged ! i also have some pic's before i repaired ! hope this has helped ! andy

Other pics I've found have the W of Williams lined up with the edge of the
bump strip.... like the 3 lines up with the edge of the bump strip on the
other side.

Mat, you wouldn't happen to have a very good condition bump strip for a Williams 1 drivers door would you?

Is he not aware of the impact of Cat "D"????? Takes about a third of the value of a car at least...... I would suggest £3-£4k is a fair price for that car.... I would only pay top dollar if the history was correct and he had actual confirmation from Renault that it was the last Williams off the production line....
