I thought it was too good to be true, but you have to be careful what kind of metals you use it on.

yeh im guessing alloy might be risky, but anything cast would be ok or even pressed steel like brake back plates and wishbones.
Oh and paddy use your bath :D

i would say soft metals, such as alloy and brass that kind of thing, might pay to try on smaller parts first to see how it goes
