Had the willy MOT'd today after being garaged for 3 months, thought it was fine but had some bad new when I went to pick it up after work. Falied on the following...
Snapped front spring :shock: Happened while testing!
Snapped handbrake cable....Was freyed then snapped in test!
Horne not working...loose wiring I think after hitting badger :lol:
Parking light failure due to handbrake.

Joy....ten days to fix it, can't wait :roll:

Is it generally best to change both front springs or can you get away with changing one?

I needed a whole new sill - at least you can do those bits at home! LoL :lol:

sorry to hear mate. didn't expect your car to fail on anything! lol.

when i first got my williams it failed on about 5 things!

always change springs in pairs matty. Brand new is the only way for us original boys

Is that it? You have an easy day! at least there isnt welding, CV boots etc all the great fun items! my car usually fills the page, Back brakes is the achilles heel of valver/williams fails!

I won't disagree with that - past two years I've needed them done in one way or another :roll: lol
