rev limiter!!

well as most know the limiteron a std williams should be 6500rpm, and normally u can feel mine hit it, but when i took clio out yesturday for a few hr i was going past it every time! getting to 6700-6800 and then changing up!!!

anyone seem to suffer this temporary rev limiter lol?

obviously to those who dare go to the limiter lol :wink:

Northy has a 'special' limiter on his.....thats because it's running a superchip! :lol:

lol mien is std yet some days it hits limiter spot on and other days it isnt there lol!!!!!!

once warmed...and very warm mine will go to 6700rpm mate....but when having doo's i change on the first nudge of the limiter now.

I've got the HP remap and the limiter is spot on 7k :twisted:

ive got to 6.6 a couple of times by mistake and ive hit no limiter!

mine used to do that, still does

at times you could hit 6700-6800 on std limiter, other times itd cut in at 6500 bang on


now can get nearly 7500 sometimes..but usually hits limiter bang on 7100

whats the best time to change just b4 thr red or well b4, i had a reno 5 gt and when i first got my williams 2 the gear shiftin was totally diifrent ,ovis cause the 5s a turbo.. but i didnt think it would be that much the revs go round so quick on the clio i bounced the needle a few times till i got used to it :lol:

yup, 6800 is the highest I have seen on mine, and when I had a go in 9 lives it was going to 7500 that day without bouncing off the limiter... they are a bit mad eh?

hahaha ive raced a few cars since ive got it the 5 gt was worse for street punks in there dun up saxos... haha not many pple try me in the clio 1s they have seen the badge im past racing about now... :lol:

my limiter is 6500 every time every day.never changes
