Hi

I am looking to buy a Clio Williams and have made contact with an owner looking to sell his Williams 1 with 103,000 miles. It No 226 and has had 6 owners with lots of history. The advert shows lots of photo's in which the car looks in very nice condition, he is asking for £1800.00 but has advised that the car needs a new clutch. Do you think that is a fair asking price?

Many thanks

Ben

Thats the one on CS isn't it? Always got to get something off the asking price imo. Going to set you back a few hundred if you cannot do it yourself.

Its also been for sale for ages and per add "needs to go". I think there is scope to get more off, dont rush in but do get a Williams 1.

Yes it is the one on Cs that has been for sale for a long time. Unfortunately I would not be able to change the clutch myself and I believe this would cost approx £500.
Looking to take my time and find a nice one to keep for good along with my Trophy.

Also got a 1991 205 GTi 1.6 2 owners from new with 37k that needs a little pampering. Eventually I want to add a mint 205 1.9 and a 5gt Turbo and I will be in Hot Hatch Heaven. Might sound flash but a lot of people spend more on just one car and I have no depreciation to worry about.
