Just had some AWT cams + vernier pullys put in my williams by Ben, the car's going well with only a small adjustment to be made in a few weeks time --> infact it runs much more smoothly than i anticipated so i think i will go a bit more agressive with the timing.

All that leaves now is the supersprint manifold and a chipwizard remap and the wickid willy will be done :D

yeah im definately up for coming to a track day or 1/4mile as soon as i get my manifold and remap done, i also might invest in some 4pots and a quickshift to get it on form.

In the meantime i might comeup to one of the events, if theres anything on near-ish! to Gatwick.

Weve got the Sprint day at the end of August in Somerset. That should be a good day out / weekender and cheap as well.

Just fitted my 2nd set of AWT cams into a Saxo VTR today and they have made a big difference to the mid-range power. The customers well pleased with them.

Why a chipwizard re-map over a GDi SMT6??

Richy, i think they are '262' but the rest of the tech info Ben would have to explain to you , you can tell its cammed by a slight burble, but it does idle smoothly - and pulls strongly

smokey - i think the chipwizard remap will do the same thing for the amount of mods ive got as the smt6 (which will be cams/SS-manifold/exhaust), and is a bit cheaper ? unless you can give me any reasons why the smt6 would be better ? open to ideas...

i think ur makin the rite choice with the map mate tbh.

smt 6s seem to give a bit of hassle, cant up the limiter, and are generally not very good imo....or the guy thats mapped em doesnt seem to get the best out of em if u know wot i mean
