How many are fitted? I think one or more need replacing due this extreme cold weather weve had recently.. Were I live it got down to-7 -8 the other day.

My car froze up!! Correct me if im wrong but arnt the coreplugs a little thing that pop out to relieve pressure if your engine freezes?

no your correct...

theres a lot though...think theres 6 iirc correctly on the bottom end and 3/4 on the head..but other things can go..

have you got a leak..

yeah but they just tap in on sealant iirc? theyre round discs

Yeh since its defrosted and Ive had a new aux belt fitted as the other one snapped. Its a major leak too, seems to only when running and when I mean leak I mean like im pouring water out of a watering can on the floor, dont seem to do it when turned off though.. the water looks like its leaking from something on the side of the engine with the water pump but its def not the pump itself STUMPED....

theres 3 plugs on the cambelt end of the engine

two on the head and one one the engine block near the top

tap then in the middle with a punch to collapse them slightly then tap them on one edge to turn it, grab it and yank it out, dont tap it right into the block obviously, then smear sme blue hylomar around the edge of the new one and tap them squarely 12,36 & 9 motion until slightly below surface of the block
