Hi guys ,Ive got a jb3 which has printed on it in yellow paint "diesel" is there such a thing? and if so whats the difference between it an a std box.

yes there is 8)
the yellow writing makes me think its written in a scrap yard
most of them have these yellow pens that write on anything :P

at a guess the g/b would be off a diesel extra ,i got one too .
iirc the ratios are pretty good , 2nd gear max 70mph @7k revs
5th gear 70mph @2.5k

Are the bearings beeftup etc?

no their the same across the entire JB3 range just the ratio,s differ..

JC5 has stronger bearings..
