Too much Oil... [Archive]

I noticed there is slightly too much oil on the oil level by about 1cm, if that on the dipstick and it goes above the max mark on the dial in the car.

Would you empty and refil to max mark or should it be ok as the little clio's burn some off anyway?

just keep driving ,the engine should get rid of it
in the next 100 miles .
booting it helps a lot :P

should be fine mate on std engine

the turbo on mine doesnt like overfill tho, stray 1mm over the max and it smokes like ****, backs up in oil return and pushes it out the turbo oil seals :shock:

Just fill the engine up until it dribbles out the oil filler cap, same as gearbox.

lol if any ones does that i'll personnaly put sand in it too!
