I've bought a Nautilus to replace it with, bit of dual hornage  gonna have to run a relay in with new cable though as it says standard wirings shite!

Yea I was confused having looked at the horn. It looks like there are two points for wiring but I only had one wire attached.

Only one of the horns works and it sounds like shit :)

I'll try messing with it at the weekend when I have the car jacked up for my brakes and coilover swap.

there is a second wire that goes between the 2 horns, they run off one feed then both earth themselves through the mounting point mate, if urs only works on low pitch or whichever its because the connecting wire is missing

Connecting wire?

So, the feed wire goes down in between the two horns, and the socket looking wire attaches to the side. So if only one works the wire contact or wire itself on one of the horns is shot?

see on the pic, joining wire, then on left hand horn on pic theres a second spade connector right next to the connecting one, thats where the loom connects

horn......

common live <red> upto indicator stalk
solid light grey wire from stalk goes to loom harness conector situated n/s/f cabin side of bulkhead, goes from there through bulkhead and believe it stays as a thick light solid grey wire to the horns, horns are wired in series

hope that helps

Well, I have cecked it over. Got it working a bit, then snallped one of the joining plugs for the wiring :(

It seems in last years MOT the lower horn was replaced with a different type of horn. It does not work. I shall take them off and either replace them both or try again with just scrubbing the mounting points to see if it's a bad earth.
