dodgy thermostat..dodgy wire or dodgy temp sender
dodgy thermostat..dodgy wire or dodgy temp sender
i would not say thermostat :?
sounds deffo an electrical issue though ,
could also be a faulty temo gauge .

mine moves up and down between one third and two thirds quite regually - nothing to worry about I've been told.... some say it should stay rock solid on one third, other say it moves around.... I've had no problems with one that moves around.... there, hope that makes sense...

fan responds to another sender located on the rad itself
so they have no relation what so ever .
you say the temps are going up down up down
if your stat was faulty i dont think that would be the case
