I got bored about 3.30 pm so I've just popped out and gave the car a full on clean. In the dark, almost sub-zero temperatures.

When I thought I had finished I saw a spattering of what looked like cigarette ash blown across my car, lots of white stuff. It wasnt ash. It was snow.

People gave me some odd looks.

Question is: Am I mad to clean the car in this weather at night?

haha, I struggle to motivate myself to clean the car in summer nevermind winter. However I have had quite a few days working on the car in the cold and dark. Last year it was about -3 and I was out with an inspection lamp for hours trying to fix my rear calipers

I went down the M27 briefly after u posted this, got stuck behind a gritter, so took a different route via Fareham, only to pass it coming the other way, spraying me real good :(

I was helping my m8 change the rear subframe on his volvo  yesterday, it was snowing  almost got frostbite in my toes, it took nearly 10 hours to do it  and I only had 1 hours sleep on his sofa after finishing a 12 hour night shift

And the other day when I was polishing mine, I didn't notice how cold it was so shit my pants when I thought the fresh paint on my roof was ****ed after polishing it  until I realised it had frozen over

I've washed mine at midnight before a show, with it turning to ice before I've finished

I hate being cold though so I haven't washed it again for weeks and now rust is coming up again :(

Need to get to it this week!!
