hiya, can you get sidemounted bucket seat brackets for a williams? as i know they dont make subframes for bottom mounted ones.

any help on this would be awesome as my troubles with seats just seem to be never ending!! :evil:

If you want to mount them to the std runners, you'll need bottom mount ones and the correct clio subframes.

Bottom mount ones you'll need to mount through the floor

ok well i want to bolt the seats to the floor so what do i buy for that then, ive taken out all the original brackets and runners.

You'll need to drill through the floor, and then put a 3mm thick load spreader plate, can't remember the FIA spec off top of my head, something like 100mm x 50mm

plus you might find them too low...

i would get some tubes welded in the right locations or at least bolted to the seats and then the floor with large washers

these are a major safety item and in correct fitting will render them useless

im 6foot7 it couldnt be too low lol.

my mate is finally getting on with it now and making subframes for my rear mounted ones to fit to the existing runners. Yay!
